 The Planning and Neighborhood Services Division provides several functions.
The Planning area concentrates its efforts on services including rezoning, site plan review, alley and street vacations, sale of rights-of-way, requests for easements, preliminary and final plats, review of development permits and plans that are submitted for land use, flood plain, density and setback issues, review of sign permits, and investigation of zoning complaints and violations.
The Neighborhood Services area concentrates its efforts on creating programs to provide affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, economic development, slum & blight removal, and services to low-income and special needs populations.
