Sioux City Parks & Recreation’s 23rd Annual Special Olympics Expo
Sioux City Parks & Recreation will host the 23nd Annual Special Olympics Expo on Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Leif Erikson Park/Pool. Parks & Recreation will hold clinics in the areas of tennis, softball, and volleyball for Special Olympic athletes followed by a free lunch for participants and event volunteers. Following the events there will be an open swim for all participants. Registration begins at 9:30am with opening ceremonies beginning at 10am. Participants are asked to register through the Parks and Recreation office by Friday, July 30th for this FREE event.
