Heights Neighborhood Reconstruction: Stage 4 – All removals are complete and the temp. water services have been installed. The contractor will continue with storm sewer, water main and sanitary sewer installation this week.

Cunningham Drive Reconstruction – The contractor has completed removals on this full reconstruction project located south of Home Depot and is currently installing sanitary sewer main. The contractor has completed the sanitary sewer work and has begun installation of storm sewer main.

2010 Paving Patch phase I - This project includes the paving patch of 1150 square yards of concrete streets on Cheyenne Boulevard from Outer Drive to 46th Street. These street pavement sections are severely cracked and undermined with potential for cave-in. The project also includes rebuilding corners with Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) compliant curb ramps. Approximately 50% of this project is complete.

The Engineering Division understands that residents and businesses may be inconvenienced by the street closures and construction activities associated with these projects. We appreciate your patience and cooperation and will continue to keep you informed. You can find more information, including maps and progress updates, at our website: www.SiouxCityStreets.org. To ensure the safety of all, please be especially cautious in construction zones and along detour routes.
