Sioux City RAGBRAI® Committee Partners with Panera Bread
The Sioux City RAGBRAI® Hospitality committee will be hosting “Party Down with Panera” Saturday, July 24th, from 9am to noon on Floyd Blvd. in Leeds between Grant and Arthur Streets.
On Saturday morning, the public is invited to help decorate this stretch of road to wish bikers good luck as they head out of Sioux City Sunday morning, July 25th. Sidewalk chalk will be available so participants can write a farewell message to the 10,000 or more bicyclists leaving Sioux City as part of RAGBRAI XXXVIII.
The event is designed to be a fun community project, and kids of all ages are invited to help. KG95 and KOOL 99.5 will be broadcasting live from the event. And Panera Bread will provide their famous bagels and bagel bites to all participants, while supplies last!
Join the fun Saturday morning, July 24th, from 9 am to 12pm on Floyd Boulevard between Grant and Arthur Streets, where the “Party Down with Panera” celebration will take place. Grant and Arthur Streets are located on the far north side of Floyd Blvd. Parking is available in the American Popcorn parking lot, located at One Fun Place, also on the north end of Floyd Blvd.
Sioux City serves as the starting point for this year’s RAGBRAI, and served as the starting location for RAGBRAI the first time the ride was held 37 years ago. RAGBRAI is the largest and oldest bike touring event in the country, and is expected to draw more than 20,000 overnight visitors to Sioux City this weekend.
