
ANIMAL CONTROL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The purpose of the Advisory Committee will be to: (1) advise the City Council on the effectiveness of the Animal Control profider, (2) serve as an advisor to the Independent Contractor of Animal Control, (3) serve as an ombudsman for animal control problems, and (4) recommend to the City Council policies concerning dogs, cats, euthanasia, livestock, strays, animal handling methods and control of predators.

LOCATION: Sioux City Police Department
MEMBERSHIP: Consists of no more than five members including: four members to be appointed by the City Council, one licensed veterinarian practicing in Sioux City, and one City department representative member appointed by the Chief of Police or his designated representative.
